About TortAdvisor
TortAdvisor helps consumers understand complex product-liability, mass-tort, and personal-injury matters through clear legal guides, current case updates, settlement resources, and interactive calculators.
Who We Are
TortAdvisor is a legal-information and consumer education platform headquartered in Stuart, Florida. For the past six years, our team has focused on helping everyday people understand their options after a product-related injury, motor vehicle accident, toxic exposure, or other personal injury.
We monitor active litigation, court filings, regulatory announcements, settlement developments, and emerging claim criteria. Our goal is to turn complicated legal and medical information into useful, professionally presented resources that readers can understand without needing a law degree.
TortAdvisor is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Our role is to help readers become better informed, identify important questions, and understand when professional legal or medical guidance may be appropriate.
What We Provide
Active Lawsuit Guides
Clear explanations of current mass-tort, product-liability, toxic-exposure, and personal-injury matters.
Settlement Calculators
Educational tools that organize injury severity, evidence, treatment, damages, and other claim-value factors.
Settlement Amount Guides
Carefully labeled estimates and confirmed settlement information presented without promising a result.
Legal Insights
Timely articles explaining court activity, regulatory developments, evidence requirements, and consumer issues.
Our Editorial Process
Every TortAdvisor resource begins with research. Our editorial and development teams review relevant court records, government publications, regulatory materials, settlement documents, and other authoritative sources before preparing an article or calculator.
Source Review
We begin with primary sources whenever possible, including court records, government agencies, multidistrict litigation dockets, statutes, and official program guidance.
Plain-Language Drafting
Complex legal and medical information is translated into direct, readable explanations without unnecessary jargon.
Accuracy and Formatting Review
Content is reviewed for factual consistency, source support, readability, mobile presentation, and clear distinctions between confirmed facts and estimates.
Ongoing Updates
Pages are revised as cases progress, eligibility standards change, new rulings are entered, or more reliable information becomes available.

Our Editorial Team
Day-to-day content is produced and maintained by the TortAdvisor Editorial Team. The team transforms court activity, regulatory updates, medical and scientific materials, and technical research into the articles, settlement guides, timelines, and calculators published throughout the site.
Our editorial objective is consistent across every page: provide clear, current, well-organized information that helps readers better understand a legal issue and make more informed decisions about their next steps.
- Confirmed facts are separated from projections, estimates, and allegations.
- Settlement ranges are labeled as educational and are never presented as guaranteed outcomes.
- Time-sensitive legal and regulatory information is updated when reliable new information becomes available.
- Primary sources are linked whenever practical so readers can review the underlying material.
- Medical and legal disclaimers are included where appropriate.
Our Standards and Commitments
Accuracy Before Speed
We aim to publish quickly when important developments occur, but not at the expense of clear sourcing, context, and responsible wording.
Clarity for Consumers
Our writing is designed for people researching an injury or legal issue for the first time—not only attorneys or industry professionals.
No Guaranteed Results
Lawsuits, settlements, eligibility, and compensation depend on individual facts. We do not promise case acceptance or financial recovery.
